I'm Niccolò Marcarini, 5th-year PhD Candidate in Economics and Finance (Major: Financial Accounting) at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, currently on the 2026/2027 Academic Job Market. During my PhD, I carried out several research visits at ESADE Business School (2024–2025), the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University (2026), and the Stern School of Business at New York University (2026–2027).
My research explores the real effects of disclosure and regulation, as well as how modern technologies, such as social media and artificial intelligence, affect information production and circulation in capital markets. I combine empirical archival methods with large language model (LLM) techniques.
